Meet Lola
The star of our holiday campaign shares her thoughts on building a better future with Coachtopia – and models key looks from the film.
A breakout star
New York born and bred actor Lola Tung was cast in her breakout role—as Belly in Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty—while still in college. Since then she’s won legions of fans for her natural charm both off and on-set, started a major TikTok trend (search “Oh my goodness I love this question!”—just do it) and joined forces with Coachtopia as one of the founding members of our Coachtopia community.
“I think it’s something that’s really important and is the future of fashion. I’m really excited to be a part of it.”
A proud Coachtopian
Lola has been one of our most passionate collaborators since the earliest days of Coachtopia, taking the lead in our launch campaign to help us bring our mission of circular fashion to the world.
“The commitment to circular fashion that is so cool and expressive but is also not hurting our home is so important. It’s not going to happen overnight but we have to stay committed to it.”
Inspiring change
As part of our growing community of designers, makers, thinkers and activists, she’s been an advocate for the change her generation wants to see in the fashion industry.
“We are the ones who are growing and living in this world and sort of taking over, so it’s important to get our input.”
Facing up to holiday waste
In “Have a Wasty Holiday,” our latest short film, she’s helping us address the wasteful habits of the holidays—by befriending a crafty creature called Wasty to reimagine waste for a brighter future.
“When you start to look at waste not as a problem, but as an opportunity, there’s so much we can do to make beautiful things in more sustainable ways.”
